Nominations are now open for CTST’s annual volunteer recognition program - the Doug Cooper Annual Awards.
The Doug Cooper Annual Awards recognise the incredible contribution made by volunteers to keep our consumers connected and living independently in their community.
The awards reflect volunteers who live the values of CTST. For example, nominations can relate to a volunteer who is professional, respectful, friendly or who makes you feel safe in the vehicle.
Recipients are awarded in the North, North West, and South with an overall recipient of the Doug Cooper Award.
The awards are named in honour of Doug Cooper, a long-standing and well-respected board member and volunteer of CTST. Doug was the first to receive life membership for his 20-plus years of service. His aim was to provide quality transport for our consumers and ensure that our volunteers were supported in their role with us.
“The Doug Cooper Awards shine a light on the incredible service our volunteers provide to our consumers,” said Lyndon Stevenson, CEO of CTST.
“We encourage our consumers to nominate so that we can recognise the efforts of our volunteers and celebrate the significant role they play at CTST.”
